United States: The World Health Organization (WHO) keeps alive their warning about the mpox outbreak with the highest level. People who are actually now seeing more people getting sick, and the disease is spreading to more countries. Responding to the outbreak, which is basically a challenge, WHO director general named as Dr Margaret Chan told reporters in Geneva, in context of which adding that they needed to work with other countries to prevent the spread of the AIDS virus further.
The (International Health Regulations) IHR Emergency Committee who already advised about that the upsurge of mpox continues to constitute a public health emergency of this international concern, and the WHO Director-General who initially agrees with the advice of the IHR Emergency Committee and has also declared that the upsurge of mpox continues to constitute a public health emergency of international concern, the WHO said and has decided to extend the emergency first declared on 14 August.

So far, the outbreak has been hard hit Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) with Burundi in second place and Nigeria in third.
Mpox is a virus that spreads from an infected animal, or person, and from close contact with a person who has mpox.
Muscular aches, fever and large boil like lesions can be fatal, and are accompanied by fever.
That was the August emergency declaration after a big spike of cases of Clade 1b strain in the DRC spread to neighbouring countries.
Africa is among the 19 countries that have reported this year that and other mpox strains, said WHO previously.
In 2022, the spread of mpox was particularly concerning because a new strain of the virus, Clade 1b, emerged in the DRC and began spreading to neighboring countries. The WHO reported that mpox cases have been confirmed in 80 countries, with 19 African nations among them. As of this year, efforts to contain the virus are ongoing, but the situation remains a serious global health challenge.
In response to the growing threat all the major countries are working together to contain the outbreak by sharing information, providing medical supplies, and implementing vaccination and prevention measures. However, the WHO stresses that this will be continued vigilance, as well as a coordinated global response, which is very much necessary to prevent further spread and to protect public health worldwide.
The ongoing situation hereby highlights the importance of international cooperation in managing infectious diseases and preventing potential pandemics.
